the lives of individuals experiencing substance use disorders and homelessness. We
provide evidence-based addiction treatment, supportive housing, and outreach services
throughout the Puget Sound region.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Temporary HR Assistant/HR
Generalist to support our Human Resources team during a period of increased activity.
This role will assist with day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, employee
relations, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and
passionate about supporting a mission-driven workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist with HRIS data entry and reporting.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Help coordinate training sessions and track completion.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a nonprofit or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of Washington State labor laws is a plus
