Job Description

The Business Development Analyst is responsible for establishing and executing plans to monitor and manage setup and location of courier drop boxes and routes for the Naperville laboratory site. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the intelligence of key regional markets/industries, competitive landscape and customer outreach by creating and distributing marketing materials to showcase the Naperville office capabilities.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work hand-in-hand with North Central Business Unit Manager and Sales Account Executives/Leaders to help promote the Built business model. Will also monitor, retain and grow key strategic accounts for the Region.
  • Responsible for developing growth project planning and management of established plan and tactics. 
  • Responsible for maintaining the intelligence of the regional markets, industries, the competitive landscape and the marketing outreach to all key customers for the Region.    
  • Conduct activities outside of the Naperville office including setting up dropbox locations, physically moving dropbox equipment to these locations and developing/maintaining relationships with dropbox location owners.
  • Researching courier routes and courier options, providing recommendations for additional opportunities or sites for drop boxes.  
  • Creating content and marketing material materials about the Naperville office capabilities and working to distribute these marketing materials. 
  • Attending meetings, associations or industry events on behalf of Naperville site. 
  • Maintain relationships with professional contacts in the built construction industry and market in the Chicago region. 
  • Assist in project start up meetings to ensure project objectives are successfully met.
  • Provide general sales support for business development activities.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing and senior management with marketing campaigns, webinars and direct mail.
  • Will participate and be a part of all training and development activities to support customer base, business unit manager and sales teams in region.
  • Will take on special projects or additional development activities as assigned by senior management
  • Position will require 50% travel requirement. 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business Management, Marketing, or Communication Degree Preferred 
  • Minimum 3 years Client relationship or Customer Service Experience
  • Previous experience in creation of marketing content and materials Preferred 
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or Sponsorship 
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Information

Position Hours: 8 AM- 5 PM

Position Wage: Starting Range $50,000- $70,000 based on experience.
