Responsibilities
- Define and drive the multi-year roadmap and architecture for the cloud infrastructure platform with emphasis on performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Architect and lead implementation of Infrastructure as Code platform and governance model to provide organizational leverage.
- Own evolution of the CI/CD and deployment ecosystem, establishing standards for secure, reliable, high-velocity releases.
- Define observability strategy (SLOs/SLIs), lead cross-functional incident response, and drive post-incident remediation.
- Design and deliver self-service platform capabilities and system-level contracts to maximize product team autonomy while enforcing guardrails.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentoring senior and principal engineers, and influencing technical direction across teams.
- Partner with Security and Compliance to integrate advanced security controls and policy enforcement at the architectural layer.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced degree or additional certifications (optional/preferred)
