Location: This position is based at our client in Reston, VA.

Job Overview: As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with the team in designing, producing, testing, or implementing moderately complex software, technology, or processes, as well as creating and maintaining IT architecture, large-scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Strong ability to mentor/coach team members, as well as experience in influencing senior leadership
• At least 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies with a solid understanding of design principles
• Experience in development frameworks such as Typescript, Node.js (preferred), and react/angular.js
• Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, ReactJS, and related technologies would be a plus.
• Experience in developing Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) based capabilities, including implementation, development, and support experience
• Expert proficiency in unit testing as well as coding in 1-2 languages
• Experience with implementing integration solutions with Microservices, RESTful Web Services, and Web APIs to build automation of web services
• Expert proficiency in Object Oriented Design (OOD) and analysis
• Expert proficiency in the application of analysis/design engineering functions
• Expert proficiency in the application of non-functional software qualities such as resiliency, maintainability, etc.
• Expert proficiency in advanced behavior-driven testing techniques
• Create an initial analysis and deliver the user interface (UI) to the customer to enable further analysis.
• Experience with Python-based automation management
• Strong Development Experience in Python, Autosys, and Unix Scripting
• Databases and SQL Experience preferred
• Provide expertise for teams in all matters related to deployment, building, and the release process.
• Experience leading and working in an Agile Team

Required Qualifications:

• Must successfully pass a Hacker Earth technical assessment.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as a Senior Developer and ability to provide technical guidance in designing and architecting critical software applications
• Knowledge of Microservices-based architecture is strongly desired
• Knowledge or experience in basic DevOps support and deployment
