Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of scalable, reliable pricing and discounts systems.
- Architect and build pricing calculation engines, discount logic, and tax computation systems using C# .NET.
- Design and optimize database schemas and complex queries in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Develop high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices for real-time pricing under high-volume transactions.
- Build React-based UIs for configuring pricing rules, promotions, and discount management.
- Establish backend best practices, testing strategies, and performance optimization patterns.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate pricing systems with inventory, orders, payments, and other internal services.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Continued learning in backend architecture, databases, and distributed systems preferred
