Skills
- Deep Kubernetes expertise with hands-on production EKS experience
- Strong AWS knowledge (EKS, IAM, VPC, security groups, networking)
- Solid Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills
- Containerization experience with Docker and container orchestration patterns
- Infrastructure as code with Pulumi or Terraform
- Programming proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling
- Security-first mindset for cloud environments
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve production EKS infrastructure across multiple clusters to ensure reliability, security, and scalability
- Define and drive standard multi-cluster application deployment patterns and platform best practices
- Serve as a subject matter expert and technical leader for cloud infrastructure across engineering teams
- Educate and mentor engineers on Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud-native operational patterns
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions that balance performance, cost, and security
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and runtime operations
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Pulumi or Terraform for reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure
- Implement cloud security best practices including network policies, IAM configuration, and compliance controls
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
