Skills
- Proven Java development experience with Spring / Spring Boot
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and SQL
- Automated unit testing (JUnit or similar)
- Experience working on Agile teams and using Jira
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to obtain required government security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain Jira tasks regularly
- Write and maintain automated unit tests and support CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot production and non-production system issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet client requirements
- Learn new technologies and apply them to project needs
Education
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) plus relevant work experience
- Minimum of 4 years supporting Java applications and frameworks
