Reports to: Site Manager and Manager of Planning

Location: Mooresville/Clayton Area


Your Impact

The Distribution Center (DC) Trainer will be responsible for preparing new and current employees by training the associate on the various DC operation functions, equipment and materials used. Training associate levels may include, Exempt, Hourly (Non-Exempt), and Directors.  The Trainer will plan on the job trainings, materials, and activities based on the business operation projected forecast needs to successfully assimilate the new and current hire associates based on their assigned or upcoming job roles.

  

Training will be based on the associates, department functions, skills and knowledge needs required. The Trainer must have the capabilities of drafting, and able to deliver related materials and training processes. The Trainer should also be able to facilitate a successful learning process.  The DC Trainer should be able to lead the various departmental training assignees and delegate the DC Operations training efforts.

Who You Are

Create documents/SOPs/Best Methods in DC/Fulfillment setting 3–5 years in training setting. Solid comprehension of methodologies, training, processes, and standards. 2-5 years of experience delivering training with big box DC’s
 

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Classroom & hands-on training warehouse experience
  • Advanced MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Ability to deliver material in classroom setting
  • The ability to adapt in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Ability to understand WMS systems Oracle and High-Jump training.
  • Ability to understand all job functions in the DC and deliver through training
  • Ability to communicate in English/Spanish.
  • Ability to capture new processes and translate into technical documents
  • Introduce new methods help make the function of the job more efficient
  • Create, update, and document materials so that employees are educated on the most recent information.
  • The trainer will occasionally participate in cross function coverage in the event support is needed.
