This position assists the Associate Vice Chancellor, Dean, and Associate Dean in the overall administration and daily operations of seven campus locations supporting over 120,000 students in outreach and recruitment, registration ready activities, and enrollment support.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the purpose of community colleges and the vision of Dallas College.
Experience leading or managing major change initiatives including knowledge and skill in process improvement, project planning, conflict resolution, team building, customer service, and data-based decision-making concepts.
Ability to interpret, understand and apply comprehensive knowledge of innovative technology platforms related to and in support of the holistic student experience (ex: Salesforce, Navigate, Workday, other CRMs or similar platforms).
General knowledge and experience in working with student success programs.
Ability to maintain effective communication between students and faculty within the College and external community stakeholders.
An understanding of contemporary issues in higher education is required through professional development activities.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students.
Ability to identify, address, and collaborate with other leaders on solutions to barriers preventing a significant portion of our population from having a job that pays a living wage.
Experience with current and emerging technology related to student success, including expertise with enrollment management systems and web-based recruitment & retention efforts.
Ability to utilize technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, complex ideas and information to a variety of stakeholders/constituents within the Dallas College community network related to career and academic requirements.
Experience interpreting, articulating, and implementing a variety of regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Dallas College, state, and federal requirements.
An understanding of contemporary issues in higher education is required through professional development activities.
Demonstrated understanding of the needs of student populations, to include sound knowledge and understanding of the K-16 landscape particularly as it relates to pre-college experience – college readiness, access and transition.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher as confirmed by official transcripts.
3 - 5 years of experience in a higher education setting
Official transcript will be required.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience supervising employees.
One (1) year of experience in operational planning, policy development, and program outcome/needs assessment.
Master's degree or higher
5 – 7 years of experience in a higher education setting.
Recruitment experience preferred.
Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred.
CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)

Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and direct processes and procedures related to the day-to-day operational management, leadership, and support for Student Outreach & Recruitment
Provides direct supervision and mentorship of staff at multiple campus locations.
Manages strong working relationships with various internal departments across Dallas College as well as external stakeholders such as area school districts and their leadership, universities, business, and community-based organizations and serves as lead for focused outreach efforts to increase knowledge of and enrollment at Dallas College.
Assist in the planning and execution of departmental event management, strategic enrollment marketing, and translating student development theory and best practices into holistic recruitment strategies.
Conducting regular review and analysis Student Outreach & Recruitment initiatives and strategies with research and analytics partners to inform its growth and evolution.
Additional program initiatives include providing comprehensive leadership for the collection, analysis, and application of enrollment digital technologies (Salesforce), directing data analysis, driving project completion, and working closely cross-sectionally for the implementation of the comprehensive strategic enrollment plan and initiatives for effectiveness, ensuring state, federal compliance requirements are met.
Develop, assess, and provide relevant and actionable outcomes to help drive continuous improvement and innovative advancements for, and in collaboration with key stakeholders for implementation, alignment, and coordination of strategies and initiatives to achieve the college’s mission and goals.
Working in collaboration with Dallas College stakeholders, provides leadership, administrative direction, and oversight of initiatives in areas including, but not limited to digital technologies, operational efficiency, program quality, resource allocation, data analysis, coordinated dissemination, reporting, and process improvement.
Provide creative and energetic leadership and administrative oversight in the development, execution, ongoing improvement, and maintenance of all cross- functional operational efforts of Dallas College Outreach and Recruitment.
Maintain a regular and consistent physical presence at all campus locations where the Sr. Manager oversees staff and provide supervision, mentorship, staff development, and support. Also, contribute to department wide professional development, role specific programs.
Ability to assist as needed at outreach and recruitment events.
Collaborate with the Division of Student Success (Dallas Promise, Admissions, Financial Aid, Success Coaching, Career Pathways, etc.) to ensure coordinated delivery of services for all Dallas College prospective students.
Collaborate, support, and serve as primary contact between ISD partners and the College to support the needs and services of outreach, recruitment, and enrollment assistance within Student Services.
Maintains effective communication between faculty, staff and administrators within the College and external community stakeholders including but not limited to program implementation team(s) as well as with K12 community groups, school partners, counselors, students, and parents.
Represent Dallas College Outreach and Recruitment with all internal and external constituencies and corresponding events/activities.
Assist in the development and assessment of departmental and individual goals for the Outreach and Recruitment team in alignment with Dallas College’s key performance indicators and conducting annual assessment of effectiveness.
Utilizes technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, and communicate with others.
Monitors and updates student digital experience keeping comprehensive communication updated and current, particularly as it relates to Dallas College Outreach and Recruitment operational and policy guidelines.
Assumes overall responsibility for directing the activities of the personnel engaged in performing the functions of the assigned areas.
Assesses needs; supervises and coordinates development, implementation and evaluation of programs and associated staff.
Collaborate with college partners to implement proactive intervention strategies to advance student success metrics (i.e., graduation rates, student satisfaction, student retention goals, and credit generation) using data to identify populations.
Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year.
Performs other duties as assigned.
