Skills
- 5+ years product management experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a fast-growing company
- Experience developing products that combine hardware and software, preferably in robotics or autonomous systems
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle practices
- Technical fluency in robotics/autonomy topics to engage with engineers and capture novel ideas
- Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience conducting market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap aligned to company strategy, market needs, and technical feasibility
- Manage full product lifecycle from discovery, PRDs and user stories through development, launch, and post-launch optimization
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and end-user interviews to define product requirements and opportunities
- Advocate for end-user needs across diverse use cases (commercial and defense), ensuring human-centered product design
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, ML, electrical, mechanical, biz dev, marketing, partners) to deliver on roadmap and GTM plans
- Define, track, and analyze product KPIs to guide improvements and future prioritization
- Prepare and present product updates, technical briefs, and funding reports to executives, customers, and agency stakeholders
- Travel domestically (and internationally as needed) to meet customers, partners, and end users
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (required)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant field preferred but not required
