ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the review and evaluation of academic credentials for first-year and transfer applicants for admission for approximately 10-30 hours per week from mid-November to early March
Thoroughly review and accurately assess academic details and data for applicants, including but not limited to: transcripts, school profiles, and other relevant academic credentials
Exercise discretion, sensitivity, and professional judgment while accessing and evaluating highly confidential applicant information
Maintain regular communication with the Director of Enrollment Data and Analytics, and be receptive to ongoing training and feedback
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience
Appreciation for the value of a liberal arts education and of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences
Strong, self-motivated work ethic, high energy, and competitive spirit
Highly organized, attentive to detail, and technically proficient with digital documentation
Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of information within strict deadlines
Ability and confidence to exercise discretion while working independently and as a member of a diverse team and community
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
This position will have significant interaction with several members of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position often involves sitting. Computer usage involving repetitive hand/wrist motion is also necessary.
