Configuration Manager - Lead (100% Remote - REF1838T)

Citizant is in search of an experienced Configuration Management Lead to support our IRS customer.

Location: Fully Remote

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team responsible for all aspects of configuration management of a software development project
• Provide configuration management support to include code versioning and coordination of application transmittals across various environments
• Coordinate the integration and deployment of multiple development teams’ software/code to consolidate for test/production environment installation and/or testing
• Participate in the planning, scheduling, and installation of software
• Interface with system administrators to debug software deployment issues

Required Competencies:

• Must be familiar with Agile Software Development and working with a Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Must have a deep understanding of Configuration Management Principles and be comfortable supporting CM in a complex software development environment.
• Must have experience with:
  • Linux
  • Git
  • Maven
  • Jenkins
  • Nexus
  • SonarQube
  • Rational Tools
  • A familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.

Experience:

• A min. of 4 years of Configuration Management experience.
• Must be experienced with Java builds and deployments.
• IRS experience is preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have the ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
• The applicant selected will be subject to a security investigation, and employment is based on the ability to attain Minimum Background Investigation clearance.

Starting salary range: 

• Up to $100,000k/yearly (depending on experience)
