Responsibilities
- Prepare and file employment-based immigration petitions/adjustments including H-1B, I-140, I-485 and client-relevant NIV/IV matters
- Manage client relationships and consult with small business and enterprise clients on immigration processes and strategy
- Provide support and leadership to assigned teams and assist Managing Attorney with enterprise client matters
- Review and mentor paralegals, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency of casework
- Conduct legal research and prepare complex legal memoranda, briefs, and filings
- Evaluate cases, recommend strategies, and resolve complex legal or factual issues
- Perform reporting, auditing, and coverage for attorneys during leave or vacation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law and policy changes and apply them to client matters
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Admission to a State Bar (active)
- Legal education or training in immigration law preferred
