Senior Offensive Security Engineer
Skills
- Proven offensive security/red team experience against cloud and web environments
- Exploit development and custom tooling creation to bypass defenses
- Experience performing surreptitious cloud-based attacks and adversarial simulation
- Knowledge of Kubernetes/container orchestration security and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with detection engineering and translating attack techniques into alerts
- Strong technical communication and ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Plan and independently execute full red team exercises and adversary simulations
- Attack web applications, cloud platforms (including Kubernetes/container orchestration) and supporting services to discover security issues
- Develop custom payloads, exploits, and tooling to emulate sophisticated adversaries
- Partner with Engineering, Product, IT and Detection teams to drive remediation and build high-fidelity detection
- Research emerging attack vectors and translate findings into defenses and detection rules
- Participate in purple-team exercises and provide technical leadership and guidance across the organization
- Communicate vulnerabilities, risk, and remediation options effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Relevant offensive security certifications are a plus (OSCP, OSCE, OSEE, CRTO, GRTP)
