Content Strategy Manager, SEO & Editorial

Chime is a consumer-focused fintech on a mission to help people achieve financial progress. The Content Strategy Manager will own editorial strategy to drive organic growth, working cross-functionally with SEO, Digital PR, Brand and Product Marketing, and Creative to build search-informed editorial programs that increase visibility, engagement, and acquisition.

Skills

  • Deep SEO and digital PR knowledge for editorial content
  • Experience building measurable content programs for consumer audiences
  • Strong storytelling and idea generation grounded in audience and search insights
  • Ability to analyze performance data and make strategic decisions
  • Cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and program leadership

Responsibilities

  • Define and own editorial content strategy focused on organic growth, discoverability, and audience intent.
  • Partner with SEO, Digital PR, Brand, Product Marketing, and Creative to identify content opportunities and align on goals.
  • Develop and lead editorial programs (evergreen, trend-driven, timely) that meet measurable organic search objectives.
  • Translate search data, trends, and competitive insights into compelling content ideas and editorial roadmaps.
  • Use performance metrics (traffic, engagement, rankings, earned media) to iterate and refine content direction.
  • Ensure all editorial content aligns with Chime’s brand voice and storytelling standards.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Continuous learning in SEO, analytics, and editorial best practices
