Overview
This position is responsible for the performance of a variety of laboratory tests in an accurate and timely manner. Professional judgment, knowledge, skills and attention to detail are essential to accurate and timely genetic testing.

Responsibilities
- Perform highly complex laboratory procedures the Genetics laboratory (Cytogenetics section).
- Perform continuous quality control and assurance activities
- Maintain general operations of the laboratory
- Engagement in research activities (as assigned)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree In Biological Science or Chemistry and 1-2 years experience Certification eligible within 1 year
- MB (ASCP) or CG (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) Preferred Upon Hire

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $32.70/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
