Overview

Assists the department management team with the overall maintenance and coordination of business processes in the Admissions Department in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures.  Serves as a resource and  is a liaison for Admissions in communication with other departments.  Assists in patient account corrections and ensure that the appropriate physicians are assigned to patients.  Completes patient registrations and works through audit reports.  Assists with special projects as identified by the management team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and managerial support of departmental functions
• Compiles and analyzes data to ensure accuracy of information. Prepares and processes reports for the Admissions Department. Performs monthly accounts payable/receivable activities.
• Completes administrative projects. Assists with special projects as assigned by the management team.
• Adheres to customer service guidelines for the Admissions Department and demonstrates excellent customer service delivery in daily interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and
  • 1-2 years experience
    • Administrative experience 
• Notary Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $19.68/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
