  • Build standardized processes, change communication strategies, and stakeholder analysis templates that ensure all technology initiatives identify impacted users and address their needs.
  • Map end-to-end change management plan including defining approach and desired impact; managing and enabling change; reviewing performance and sustaining outcomes, adapting actions as needed to achieve desired results.

Partner Management & Resistance Mitigation

  • Work across IT and business functions to secure consensus from leaders who don't report to this role, navigating opposing priorities while maintaining focus on end user outcomes.
  • Identify audience segments with influence over adoption success and ensure they feel heard and engaged before resistance can develop into blockers.
  • Build early advocacy by coordinating communications with change-averse groups first, turning potential resistors into champions who help amplify messaging to their teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to IT leadership on adoption readiness, recommending when changes need to be sequenced differently, slowed down, or accelerated based on organizational capacity.

Communication & Adoption Enablement

  • In partnership with internal communications, define communication strategies and creative briefs that guide messaging tone and content, ensuring users understand what's changing, why it matters to them, and what actions they need to take.
  • Pilot changes with small user groups, gathering feedback to refine language, identify gaps in user experience, and adjust approaches before scaling to broader audiences.
  • Partner with IT delivery teams to align change plan and technical plan and embed change management practices into project lifecycles from conception through post-launch support.
  • Create feedback loops between help desk, training teams, and project delivery to continuously improve adoption approaches and prevent support issues.

Measurement, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze adoption metrics to determine what's working and where adjustments are needed, moving beyond dashboards to actionable insights that inform decisions.
  • Use data to change course mid-initiative when user feedback indicates communication gaps, technical friction, or insufficient preparation time.
  • Report adoption outcomes to IT and business leadership, translating metrics into business impact stories.
  • Build organizational capability by documenting lessons learned and evolving guidelines that elevate change management maturity across IT.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Provide strategic leadership for change management efforts across the IT portfolio, fostering a culture of user empathy, data-driven decision making, and collaborative problem solving.
  • Partner closely with IT leaders, business unit executives, and customer-facing teams to balance delivery speed with quality of adoption.
  • Act as an advocate for end users within IT planning conversations, ensuring technology decisions consider human factors and adoption risk early in the delivery lifecycle.
  • Build credibility with partners by delivering early wins that demonstrate how intentional change management improves outcomes and reduces downstream support costs.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, or digital transformation, with 5+ years leading change initiatives in IT or technology-enabled environments.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing change management frameworks that have measurably improved adoption outcomes across global, distributed organizations.
  • Experience in developing Marketing campaigns, developing personas, adoption and engagement journeys, and conducting structured tests and tracking successes across various digital channels
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, including securing consensus from cross-functional leaders and navigating organizational politics to get results.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to assess adoption readiness, measure success, and course-correct initiatives in flight.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to translate technical changes into user-centric language and build advocacy across diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, PE-backed technology companies preferred, with understanding of how to balance transformation speed with organizational capacity.
