Responsibilities:
- Develop custom Drupal modules, monitor and maintain Drupal core and third-party modules through regular updates and patching when necessary. Provide web developers and site users support by creating and updating documentation and guides.
- Assess the functional requirements for campus stakeholders and implement solutions. Assist clients in testing new functionalities. Assist in researching and recommending available modules and features to meet client needs. Identify the need for and assist in the creation of new content types, including testing and building end-user interfaces for content display.
- Evaluate user interfaces of existing applications and web pages, and identify areas in need of improvement. Collaborate with UX Developers to implement and update designs. Participate in meetings with support staff to assess areas of need.
- Perform other classification related duties as assigned by the Administrator or designee; Stay current with emerging technology and industry trends to improve the user experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience. Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
