International Customer Service Representative

Description

Carrier Process Equipment Group (CPEG) is a Louisville-based company with multiple businesses specializing in material handling and processing equipment. We are looking for the BEST employees in the industry to help us grow our business at Carrier Vibrating Equipment in Louisville.


We are currently hiring an International Customer Service Representative. The role is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers by handling order processing, inquiries, quotations, and export formalities. This role also involves accurately entering customer orders into the system, generating quotes based on customer specifications, completing exportation documents, and ensuring timely communication throughout the order process. 


Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.


What you’ll do

  • Accurately process international customer orders, ensuring all details are correct and entered the system.
  • Generate and provide accurate price quotes based on customer specifications and requirements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the system to ensure accurate order tracking and history.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, and shipping) to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order-related issues, including discrepancies, product availability, and shipping delays.
  • Assist customers with product information, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure all communication with customers is clear, professional, and in line with company policies.
  • Monitor order status and notify customers of any delays or changes to their orders.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks, including data entry and filing of customer documents.
  • Ensure the preparation and accuracy of all required export documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and other documents required for international shipments. 
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs laws for smooth and timely shipments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous International Customer Service Experience (1-3 years) 
  • Familiarity with Order Entry Systems (CRM or ERP software) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
