- Understanding of connected HPC software components, infotainment, and communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and deliver production embedded software for HPC platforms within Volkswagen Group.
- Lead software development for base software, drivers, MCAL, bring-up/debugging, and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with hardware teams on bring-up, testing, and debugging of compute boards and custom SoCs.
- Develop and integrate bootloaders, kernels, hypervisors, and upgrade processes supporting application requirements.
- Drive performance validation and timely delivery of fully validated, high quality software features.
- Lead design, prototyping, engineering, validation, and launch of software stacks for multi-SoC HPC architectures.
- Work with contract manufacturers on test software for ECU bring-up, verification/validation, and production.
- Monitor compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and risk management processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
