Skills
- Proficiency with RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Strong understanding of RF circuit design, impedance matching, and transmission line theory.
- Experience in PCB design for RF applications and high-frequency layout best practices.
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, and 5G.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC mitigation techniques for RF systems.
- Understanding of embedded system software architectures and real-time operating systems.
- Knowledge of connected HPC software components and vehicle infotainment communication systems.
- Programming skills in C, C++, Java, HTML5, and scripting languages.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and optimize RF circuits, antennas, and transmission lines for high-frequency applications.
- Select, tune, and integrate antennas to ensure optimal wireless performance and signal integrity.
- Support PCB design efforts focused on high-frequency RF layouts and best practices.
- Develop RF system architectures addressing noise reduction, impedance matching, and power efficiency.
- Evaluate and select RF components in collaboration with suppliers ensuring manufacturability and compliance.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate RF functionalities into systems.
- Conduct RF measurements and performance evaluations using specialized test equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot RF hardware issues including signal integrity and EMI/EMC challenges.
- Support EMI/EMC compliance testing and mitigation meeting regulatory standards.
- Develop and execute RF test plans ensuring system reliability under various operating conditions.
- Document design decisions, test outcomes, and RF performance following engineering best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
