Skills
- Experience with C++, Python, or Rust programming languages.
- Strong understanding of secure software development life cycle and applied cryptography.
- Knowledge of network and operating system security.
- Familiarity with secure/authenticated boot processes and incident response.
- Ability to work across different abstraction levels and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security infrastructure including authentication, encryption, and identity management protocols for Starship.
- Develop software integrity solutions such as secure boot and code hardening leveraging specialized hardware.
- Build application-level security and backend services for network security systems.
- Lead software design, testing, and integration across launch and vehicle domains to meet mission objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain secure and reliable software practices.
- Drive continuous improvements in software standards and best practices.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
