Pros
I have had an exceptional experience working with Captivation. They offer some of the best compensation packages in the area, including a 20% 401k contribution without requiring a match. They also offer full healthcare coverage and a generous HSA contribution. The work/life balance has been excellent, and there is no organizational or performance management overhead that takes time away from actual work. The company uses modern tools and processes, making it streamlined. The projects are highly technical and contribute significantly to areas critical to national security. The CEO's background in software engineering allows for empathy toward the challenges employees face. Additionally, the leadership isn't hesitant to continue contributing as an individual contributor and stay up to date with current/future technology trends. They genuinely value employees and are dedicated to growing the company while providing the best possible compensation. This is reflected in their benefits and, rather than one size fits all, they offer employees to choose what works best for them, such as opting for a higher rate instead of PTO and/or 401k contribution. Captivation has been consistently growing and offers a variety of work across numerous highly regarded clients. I have great respect for the leadership team and their ability to keep the company growing. Overall, I highly recommend Captivation for anyone in search of a great work environment with highly competitive compensation and excellent benefits.Cons
There aren't really any! As with many defense-oriented companies, most of the work is cleared and spread across a number of clients, which provides fewer opportunities to closely work and collaborate with other members of the Captivation team. You are still able to closely collaborate with client teams as well as potentially take on technical leadership roles there.Provide in-home concierge aesthetic care as a 1099 NP/PA with Skin Clique, performing injectables and skincare treatments while growing your private practice with industry-leading training and operational support.
