Our work depends on a TS/SCI cleared VDI Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.

• Act as SME in troubleshooting all related performance issues across the organization.

• System design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement.

• Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.

• Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability.

• Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.

• Offer endpoint support on Virtual Desktop related issues and troubleshooting.

• Maintain advanced knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.

• Operate across multiple complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.

• Apply extensive technical expertise and full knowledge of related disciplines.

• Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• An active TS/SCI clearance.

• Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.

• 7+ years of experience with BS degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer.

• Experience with:

• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later

• Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)

• Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)

• Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX

• Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)

• Citrix App Layering

• Liquidware Profile Unity

• Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)

Desired:

• Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering.

• Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).

• System Center Virtual Machine Manager/VMware vCenter 6.7.

• Active Directory/ Group Policies.

• Home Directory and Profile management Support Services.

• Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,600 - $181,800
