The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our cloud operations team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will become part of the Datacenter Consolidation and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) program supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The Junior Cloud Engineer will assist in supporting applications hosted on the AWS and Azure Gov Cloud environment and maintenance of Windows and Linux server operating systems. Successful candidates will utilize their experience to assist with the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-native applications and manage small- and large-scale cloud solutions as part of Operations and Maintenance activities. The Junior Cloud Engineer is responsible for identifying scalable solutions using an in-depth coding, scripting, programming, and automation skillset with cloud native tools to create innovative and optimized cloud solutions. This includes integrating cloud services, automating deployment and operations, ensuring security and compliance, monitoring and performance optimization as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams consisting of subject matter experts (SMEs), technical personnel, and project management personnel.
