Skills
- Proven experience building and operating high-scale, high-throughput systems
- Strong backend and full-stack engineering capabilities
- Technical leadership and architecture design for large projects
- Experience with streaming/real-time pipelines and large-scale analytics platforms
- Familiarity with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and React (bonus)
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB and Snowflake (or other data lake solutions)
- Cloud and container orchestration experience (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with managed streaming platforms (Kafka/Confluent)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale systems and services to handle massive data volumes and real-time workloads
- Lead the Product Partnerships engineering team and provide hands-on technical leadership
- Mentor engineers on software design, coding standards, and operational best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to align data systems with business goals
- Research, propose, and adopt new technologies to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Define and refine operational procedures, alerts, on-call rotations, and troubleshooting playbooks to maximize system stability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
