Skills
- Strong knowledge of US and international SMS regulations and compliance standards
- Practical experience with SMS technical implementation and provisioning
- Pre-sales or consulting experience supporting technical products, ideally SaaS or marketing automation
- Process optimization and documentation skills to improve scalability
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder alignment abilities
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
- High attention to detail and strong compliance mindset
Responsibilities
- Serve as the internal pre-sales expert on country-specific SMS regulations and acceptable use cases
- Join pre-sales Services and Solution Consulting calls to explain SMS migration, compliance, and technical setup
- Support scoping of complex SMS deals, especially novel use cases or regulatory edge cases
- Define regional capabilities and propose alternative implementation approaches when required
- Guide customers and internal stakeholders through initial SMS setup and provisioning requirements
- Create and automate a 'greenlight' process to validate SMS opportunities for compliance and feasibility before deal close
- Develop and maintain best practices, compliance guides, and playbooks for repeatable onboarding and training
- Partner with Sales, Product, and GSS leadership on program logistics, training, and operational needs
- Drive cross-functional improvements to workflows and scalable SMS provisioning solutions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience
- Relevant certifications or coursework in telecommunications, compliance, or product management (preferred)
