The Paraprofessional will, under general supervision, perform a variety of instructional and personal services for students with physical, mental, and/or developmental delays. May provide services to students with specialized needs and assist students who require personal and health care. Monitors and records student behavior and performance. They will assist the instructor with their classroom responsibilities as instructed.

Paraprofessionals are required to have a high school diploma or its equivalent and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, math and classroom instruction. Environmental and Working Conditions
Classroom environment, indoor and outdoor recreational facilities with moderate exposure to environmental conditions such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, humidity, rain, fumes and varying temperature and noise extremes.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Tasks involve the ability to exert physical effort, typically involving some combination of standing for long periods of time, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds
