Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Leads the plant’s continuous improvement effort to reduce conversion costs.
- Creates and sustains a culture of continuous improvement.
- Acts as a catalyst for establishing and maintaining material flow and presentation
- Uses BBP and other means to identify cost improvement opportunities.
- Leads cross-functional Design for Assembly Manufacturing team.
- Responsible for training of Operations team in JCMS tools.
- Supports creation and distribution of Continuous Improvement metrics.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combined education and experience.
- A minimum of two years experience in the application of lean principles, and statistical tools and methods. Min of 7 years management experience.
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision making abilities.
- Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
- Ability to exercise influence without authority.
- Ability to think strategically, envision future states and create change.
- Sufficient experience within the Company to be able to understand the organization and its business processes.
