Skills
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Chef deployment/configuration frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems like BuildKite or Jenkins
- Knowledge of container management via Kubernetes or Amazon ECS
- Understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in coding with Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, or Ruby
- Experience with major cloud platforms, especially AWS
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure hosted on AWS
- Develop developer-facing systems for testing, building, and deploying software
- Define and implement infrastructural security measures
- Create and maintain monitoring, observability, and automation tools
- Lead reliability processes across Engineering and Customer Experience teams
- Enhance monitoring, tracing, and alerting systems to improve operational response
- Automate remediation of faults to increase reliability
- Build tooling for modular and service-based architecture scaling
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
