Cybersecurity Lead

Key Role:

Design and implement cybersecurity processes and procedures in support of our customers' mission critical requirements. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:  

• 5+ years of experience achieving ATOs for compartmentalized DoD Information Technology (IT) systems

• 2+ years of experience achieving ATOs in cloud environments, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure

• Experience supporting enterprise-level DoD IT environments

• Experience with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and RMF processes in cloud-based settings

• Knowledge of Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) assessment methodologies and their application in DoD cloud operations

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

• Cloud Certification, such as OCI Certified Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I Baseline Certification

Additional Qualifications:  

• Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)

• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency mandates for federal client transition from E3A to Protective DNS traffic monitoring

• Knowledge of key cybersecurity engineering tools, such as Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto, or Wireshark

• Ability to provide structured approaches for organizations to manage and reduce cybersecurity risks

• Ability to lead and assist federal clients focusing on cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives relating to network security engineering, product integration, and compliance with CIS, NIST, and ISO frameworks

• Ability to lead security programs to drive security resiliency via multiple cyber security work streams

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
