Responsibilities
- Manage state and local cannabis license applications, renewals, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor and interpret evolving cannabis laws and advise business units on compliant strategies
- Advise on land use, zoning, CUPs, variances, leases, development agreements and construction issues
- Coordinate with external counsel on litigation, manage discovery and internal document production
- Support employment and labor matters including investigations, contracts, and regulatory complaints
- Track legislative and local policy developments; support advocacy, white papers, and testimony
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, service, consulting and intercompany agreements
- Support entitlement and project approval processes with municipalities and local stakeholders
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
