Responsibilities
- Lead development, testing, and implementation of cATO automations and integrations with agency systems (AWS, CI/CD, cloud-native services).
- Drive the transition from an existing GRC platform to a new cloud-native cATO platform.
- Design and implement automation of RMF processes and controls integration into DevSecOps pipelines, including API-driven workflows.
- Lead and mentor the GRC Engineering practice; provide technical guidance, career growth, and hiring support.
- Engineer internal compliance automation to reduce cost, manual effort, and cognitive load for Aquia and customers.
- Automate evidence collection and reporting to satisfy NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and federal compliance requirements.
- Engage and build trust with cloud engineers, security teams, compliance stakeholders, and executives during modernization efforts.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree or industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, or cloud certs) preferred
