Responsibilities
- Develop production procedures and manage part/assembly transition from development to high-rate production
- Collaborate with vehicle analysts and design teams to meet vehicle and manufacturing requirements
- Create CAD models and prints for flight components and tooling
- Lead on-site engineering support for efficient build and integration of large assemblies
- Coordinate and execute development, qualification, and acceptance testing for systems and tooling
- Implement design-for-manufacture changes to improve production efficiency
- Create and maintain build schedules and resolve manufacturing discrepancies with quality
- Source and technically advise vendors; participate in supplier and customer design reviews
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (required)
- Master’s in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Materials, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
