Skills
- Experience with pressure transducers and physical sensors
- Hands-on experience with PCBAs and test development
- Sensor calibration and test rack development skills
- Mechanical design and analysis familiarity
- Experience with NPI lifecycle and scaling production
- Data analysis in Python, MATLAB, or Minitab
- Strong communication and teamwork
- ITAR eligibility / ability to pass background checks
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and qualify avionics hardware and sensors used on Raptor engines
- Collect and document requirements; produce data sheets, manuals, and product documentation
- Coordinate, execute, and document acceptance, qualification, and development testing
- Interface with vendors and internal production teams to support NPI and sustaining engineering
- Collaborate with systems, integration, dynamics, guidance, and other teams to meet vehicle requirements
- Prepare for and participate in design reviews
- Investigate failures, document findings, and drive corrective actions
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics (required)
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field (preferred)
