Responsibilities
- Architect and implement remote assistance systems for L4 autonomous trucking including interfaces, decision-support, and communications
- Lead and grow a team of software and systems engineers focused on low-latency, secure remote operations
- Define handoff boundaries with autonomy and safety teams and implement reliable fallback strategies
- Collaborate with safety, regulatory, and operations stakeholders to ensure compliance and operator situational awareness
- Set technical direction, deliver technical milestones, and establish operational protocols for real-time intervention
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- MS or PhD in a relevant field preferred but not required
