Responsibilities
- Design tooling, fixtures, and equipment integrating with factory machinery, NC equipment, and robotic welding systems
- Create CAD models, simulations, and digital twins to validate layouts, production flow, and resource allocation
- Support tooling and equipment integration, commissioning, and certification for prototypes and production
- Collaborate with manufacturing technology, product design, operations, facilities, safety, and suppliers to source and validate solutions
- Work hands-on on the manufacturing floor to iterate designs and optimize production systems
- Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver efficient, lean production system designs and facility layouts
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred
- Technical certifications or equivalent hands-on experience accepted
