Responsibilities
- Design and implement image processing algorithms for signal improvement, detection, and tracking on high bit-depth, large-format airborne infrared sensors
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and mission operations teams to evaluate and improve system performance
- Develop and maintain physics-based digital twins of airborne sensor systems for simulation and validation
- Define engineering completion criteria and evaluation metrics; build unit and integration test tools
- Deploy algorithms into Linux-based production environments and support integration and field testing
Education
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (required)
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline (preferred)
