- Active Top Secret security clearance
- 6+ years writing production software (C or C++ preferred)
- Systems architecture and mission systems exposure (e.g., OMS/UCI, Link 16)
- Requirements definition and specification with cyber/safety considerations
- Experience integrating across disciplines and leading software roadmaps
- Familiarity with safety-critical practices and government reference architectures
Responsibilities
- Architect and define the mission software system, including boundaries and interfaces to enable modern software practices.
- Organize and scope integration events, defining deliverables and impacts to the broader program.
- Establish and lead cross-discipline sprint initiatives to unblock teams and advance feature sets.
- Develop production software for high-risk initiatives to reduce program risk and mentor engineers.
- Drive software requirements and specifications with cyber and safety considerations.
- Own and maintain the software roadmap with detailed milestones aligned to program deliverables.
- Author technical documents, white papers, and reports for customer requests and trade studies.
- Present technical trade studies and system performance to customers and stakeholders.
Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
