Sr Manufacturing Test Engineer
Skills
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and production test practices in aerospace manufacturing
- Proven experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Experience developing automated test systems and test software
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical aircraft systems used in production
- Proficiency with test data analysis and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration
- U.S. Person status and ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans, procedures, and automated test systems for aircraft systems and components.
- Validate and deploy test systems on the production line to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Execute production tests and document results, performing detailed test data analysis.
- Perform root cause analysis on failures and lead corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
- Implement process improvements to increase test efficiency, reliability, and throughput.
- Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present test reports and status to stakeholders and project teams.
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel on test equipment and procedures.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (required)
- Relevant certifications or training in test engineering, quality, or manufacturing processes (preferred)
