Skills
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and systems thinking
- 3+ years developing in languages such as Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript
- Strong experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience building systems that process and analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to understand and navigate complex, established codebases
- Experience with debugging, monitoring, and telemetry-driven development
- Willingness to work on mission-critical systems in operational settings
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain software solutions deployed to customers, including fielded releases and sustainment
- Design, implement, and test features across networking, autonomy, and systems-integration stacks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, hardware, operations, and mission teams to deliver complete capabilities
- Create and analyze telemetry, logs, and metrics for debugging, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Triage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate fixes and rollouts
- Partner with end users to translate operational needs into pragmatic, deployable features
- Travel up to 30% to build, test, and deploy capabilities in operational environments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degrees in relevant technical fields are a plus
