Skills
- 5+ years full-stack development experience
- Proven technical leadership and ownership of production systems
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design
- Experience with backend languages and frameworks (examples: Ruby, Rails, Go)
- Frontend experience with React or similar frameworks for full-stack delivery
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling
- Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and API design
- Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and extend high-scale data ingestion pipelines for new and advanced data objects
- Own and maintain core backend systems that power product features and customer data models
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost across services and storage layers
- Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to define APIs and system interfaces
- Drive architecture and design decisions; mentor and lead junior engineers
- Participate in code reviews, incident response, and operational runbooks
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
