Responsibilities
- Own development and deployment of Air Dominance & Strike technologies in partnership with the Chief Engineer, ensuring successful delivery to DoD customers
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with DoD customers to enable rapid feedback and iterative fielding
- Execute on broad and ambiguous technical requirements across multiple concurrent programs
- Monitor and manage program cost, schedule, and resource allocation; make tradeoffs to meet commitments
- Create and implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for planning, scope, risk, and customer communication
- Provide high-ownership leadership across technical workstreams and become a trusted advisor to engineering teams
- Assess team skills, drive personnel development, and identify recruitment needs to strengthen capabilities
- Collaborate with finance and BD to develop pricing strategies and with senior management on R&D roadmaps
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (technical background preferred)
- Technical coursework or equivalent practical experience in systems or hardware development preferred
