Skills
- 5+ years validating hardware/software/system integration and verification
- Proficiency with lab test equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, VNA
- Experience with Linux command line, shell scripting, and debug utilities
- Scripting or programming experience in Python or Matlab for data parsing, analysis, and automation
- Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to travel and work at remote test sites
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance (current and maintainable)
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain electrical system test strategies and detailed test plans for EW and RF products
- Characterize wireless communication systems and RF devices across lab and field environments
- Perform integration testing of subassemblies and systems including RF/digital hardware, firmware, and embedded software
- Analyze failures, perform root-cause analysis, reproduce issues, and drive corrective actions
- Develop, design, or procure test equipment and maintain test readiness
- Automate tests to improve coverage, reproducibility, and repeatability
- Support and conduct ground and flight field testing and act as liaison during commissioning
- Facilitate calibration, durability, and environmental testing per test plans
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Relevant technical coursework or equivalent hands-on lab experience in RF systems and testing
