- Proven engineering management and team leadership experience focused on deployments and operations
- Strong Linux and command-line proficiency for debugging and data extraction
- Experience with robotic systems, UAVs, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience with cloud databases, telemetry platforms, dashboards, and metrics design
- Skilled at integrating disparate telemetry and operational data sources into actionable fleet metrics
- Demonstrated on-call production support experience and incident management
- Ability to perform data-driven root cause analysis on ambiguous hardware/software issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- U.S. Person status and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of deployment engineers, set priorities, and drive professional development
- Provide remote and on-site (<50% travel) support for field installations, operations, and sustainment
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues; drive short-term fixes and long-term root cause remediation
- Establish and maintain monitoring, telemetry, and dashboard infrastructure to track fleet health and performance
- Lead post-mortems and coordinate cross-functional teams (development, product, operations) to implement reliability improvements
- Compile and maintain technical documentation for customers, field teams, and engineering
- Collaborate with business development and contracting teams to scope and shape prospective deployments
- Coordinate with senior management to align deployment strategies with organizational objectives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to obtain required security clearance
