Skills
- Production experience building web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Experience managing and evolving large React codebases
- Expertise optimizing runtime and build performance
- Familiarity with backend languages such as Go, C++, or Rust
- Experience integrating tooling into CI/CD pipelines and frontend build systems
- Comfort working with distributed/network-constrained systems and storage
- Strong collaboration, mentoring, and communication skills

Responsibilities
- Design and implement architectural patterns, tools, and best practices for components, pages, services, and apps
- Identify and remediate developer experience and infrastructure pain points
- Work across front-end, back-end, build systems, and CI/CD to deliver features and improvements
- Support and mentor engineers on engineering best practices and tool usage
- Lead creation of new apps or refactor the monolith into focused experiences
- Harden and evolve the component library to integrate with the design system
- Evaluate and optimize libraries (mapping, charting, logging) for performance, maintainability, and visuals
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
