Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Intelligence Systems (Networking)
Skills
- Proficient in Rust, C, and/or C++ for low-level development
- Hands-on experience with embedded, low-level system development
- Demonstrated experience implementing IPv4 and IPv6 protocols
- Experience with protocol testing, validation, and debugging on SoC platforms
- Familiarity with IPsec and other network security technologies (preferred)
- Ability to work with cross-functional hardware/software teams in a security-conscious environment
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance (required)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-level networking protocols (IPv4/IPv6) for embedded platforms
- Develop and extend the software ecosystem for next-generation System-on-Chip devices
- Implement, test, and validate complex networking features and protocol stacks
- Work closely with hardware and systems teams to integrate firmware and OS-level networking
- Ensure security, performance, and reliability for intelligence-focused deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate IC requirements into deployed capability
- Maintain eligibility and compliance with required U.S. security clearance processes
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in relevant field preferred but not required
