Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor Flight Test Operations and Flight Test Engineering teams, providing technical guidance and career development
- Establish and refine flight test methodologies for evaluating mission autonomy using surrogate vehicles in high-tempo environments
- Develop long-term capacity planning and resource strategies to support future product roadmaps
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Program Management to align test strategies with development timelines
- Ensure safety, regulatory adherence (FAA, FCC), and performance standards across all flight test activities
- Plan and execute complex test events in coordination with government and private stakeholders
- Manage budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for multi-program flight test campaigns
- Create and implement standardized processes, metrics, and KPIs to measure test effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, or related technical field (required)
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical or management field (preferred)
