Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term product and feature roadmap for DFM firmware translating business and market needs into engineering plans
- Manage sprint cycles, prioritize backlog, and drive on-schedule, agile delivery of firmware features
- Mentor, coach, and grow a team of firmware engineers; run performance feedback and hiring processes
- Oversee firmware integration, validation, and quality across data path, NAND media management, and low-level hardware interfaces
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Purity software, hardware design, and NAND qualification teams to resolve integration challenges
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, testing, and productivity
- Ensure readiness for new NAND technologies (e.g., QLC) and accelerate adoption through technical leadership
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a related field preferred
- Relevant professional experience in embedded systems and storage firmware
